"Living The Dream To Stand A Better Tomorrow"
Compassionate care. United nurses. Empowered communities.
Member Portal Access →We are a group of professional nurses who are certified by nursing and midwifery council of Nigeria(NMCN) coming together by virtue of birth, and marriage who seek to meet the health needs of communities where healthcare is barely or not accessible.
The Tarok (Otarok) people represent a resilient and culturally rich heritage rooted in the communities of Langtang North, Langtang South, and Wase local government areas of Plateau State, Nigeria.
As healthcare practitioners of Tarok descent, the founders of the Tarok Nurses Forum realized the pressing need to construct a unified network that honors this unique heritage while driving advanced modern clinical standards. TNF bridges local, cultural values of communal support with modern evidence-based nursing to transform Plateau State's local healthcare ecosystem.
We take pride in our inclusive and community-driven membership standards. It is open to all qualified, licenced, practicing, and retired nurses who meet the following criteria:
Every member's contribution is tracked in a transparent, auditable ledger.
Regular financial updates and full accountability to members.
Executive council elected by members through open, democratic processes.
Operating under the professional standards of Plateau State healthcare bodies.
The Tarok Nurses forum is committed to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive evidence based nursing care, promoting unity, mentorship, and professional development, advocating for public health and community empowerment, and upholding empathy, integrity, and dedicated service in all its activities.
We believe nursing goes beyond the hospital ward — it extends directly to the doorsteps of those who need it most.
Structured mentorship programmes pairing junior nurses with seasoned professionals, plus CPD workshops for licensing, clinical growth, and career advancement.
Mobile outreach clinics delivering free screenings, maternal care advisory, and basic medicines to underserved rural communities.
Community education campaigns on hygiene, immunization, chronic disease prevention, and healthy living across Plateau State.
A robust welfare network providing mutual solidarity, career transitions, maternal relief, and emergency support for members.
From strategy sessions in the parlor to deployment on the field — our members meet regularly to plan outreaches, review welfare, and strengthen the bonds that make TNF a family.
Every number below is a life touched, a village reached, and a nurse empowered.
